This generator builds a link in the format paypal.com/paypalme/yourusername. If you don't have a PayPal.Me username yet, set one up for free at paypal.me before generating this code — just enter the username you chose there, not your full name or email.

Does scanning charge the customer automatically?
No. It opens your PayPal.Me page with the amount pre-filled if you set one; the customer still has to log in and confirm the payment themselves.
Can I change the amount later?
Not on the same printed code — the amount is baked into the static code. For a code you can update without reprinting, create a free account and use a dynamic link instead.
Does PayPal charge extra fees for QR payments?
Fees follow PayPal's own standard payment terms for the payment type used — this code is just a shortcut to your existing PayPal.Me page, not a separate payment product.
